Lane Chitwood is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property and other complex litigation. He has handled a wide range of intellectual property cases in courts across the United States, including patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, licensing and domain name disputes, and has represented clients in complex business disputes in both federal and state courts. In addition, Mr. Chitwood provides intellectual property prosecution and counseling, particularly related to patents and trademarks, and has experience addressing cyber-squatting via UDRP proceedings. He has worked as an extern for the International Trade Commission and the Board of Patent Appeals & Interferences and as a patent examiner intern for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Chitwood is licensed to practice in the state of Oregon.
